Samford Williard

"Now that your little pack of friends are here, we can go back to help Avery!" 

Best friend to Avery Silman, Samford Williard is a skilled and confidant ranch hand. When he gets taken by the Devlings, Sam returns with a dark secret of his own.

With his burly, 6'0, 205lbs frame, brown hair, and thick beard, Sam cuts an imposing figure. He's always seen sporting a hat with a bent brim and a weapon—either concealed or openly carried. Despite his tough exterior, Sam is known for his kindness and is arguably the most liked person associated with Avery Silman. 

Sam hails from a yet to be determined location outside of Silman Ranch. Despite being Avery's employee and just slightly older, Sam has taught Avery much of what he knows. Unlike Avery, Sam has no powers. His relationship with Avery goes beyond employer-employee, as they maintain a great working relationship and friendship. Sam is one of the few people aware of Avery's powers. 

Since his introduction, Sam has proven his worth by keeping the ranch running smoothly, even in Avery's absence. He's shown foresight and initiative by hiring a new hand to handle the workload during Avery's away time.
