Celebration Our Amazing Fan Community

Jen & Sylvia Soska

Nothing we do here at the Rippaverse would be possible without the generous support of our fans. Not only do you, wonderful people, pick up and discuss the comic books, awesome characters, and epic adventures we work so hard to create for you all, but the fan community created within the Rippaverse has been unbelievable to behold.

Whether you are online checking in with social media or happen to catch a live stream, our fans are always there. When it comes to the releases of new comic books, campaigns, or collections, our fans always show up. When it comes to our now-legendary meet-ups hosted with our friends like the amazing Godfather of Geekdom, Gary from Nerdrotic and Friday Night Tights, the legends over at Geeks and Gamers, or even the iconic Star Wars Theory, we have fans flying out from all over the world to spend quality time hanging out (and geeking out), walking away with even greater friendships.

Fandom as It Should Be

This is what fandom always used to be about: connecting with people who share your passions and giving you a sense of unity and community. This is a big reason why conventions are so popular. We often boast we have the best fans ever, and this is because it is true. We cannot wait to fire up YouTube and jump into chat to talk with all our friends here.

When you love what you do, fans feel much more like friends and, in some cases, even family. How does that happen? A little mutual respect and enthusiasm tend to go a long way.

Listening to Fans Matters

Many companies have taken a different approach to their fandom. They have tended to put themselves above their own customers, and instead of listening to what they want and celebrating them for their support, they place themselves above them and choose to tell customers what they should want, blaming them for company failures and shortcomings.

However, at the Rippaverse, the customer is King.

Our Promise to You

We want to thank you, our beloved fans, for all that you do for us. We hear you loud and proud, and we are here to bring enthusiasm and excitement back into comic books. We take what we do very seriously and are committed to:

  • Keeping our promises to be transparent.
  • Avoiding all lazy storytelling.
  • Maintaining comprehensive universe continuity.
  • Remaining appreciative.

It is imperative to both grow our fan base and maintain our existing one. If you do not have loyalty in your customer base, your business will be short-lived. You could be creating the best art out there, but if you are not good to the very people supporting you, they will feel unappreciated and take their support elsewhere.

Communication Is Key

It can be as simple as open communication. While social media is an incredible tool allowing us to talk to many of our favorite artists and creators directly, many simply do not take the time to respond to their fans and supporters. A little “thank you” goes a long way to show gratitude and make the very people who make what you do possible feel valued.

This is the greatest way to know if the art or work you are putting out there is making a meaningful connection with your audience. All you have to do is reach out, and you can be instantly connected with your audience and dive into discussions about what they are enjoying, what did not work for them, and where they hope your stories are going.

At the end of the day, it should not feel like work in the slightest if you are in the right place doing what you genuinely love. You should, yourself, be a fan of what you do, and connecting with your fans should feel like being amongst your peers. For us, it feels like hanging out with our friends, and that is the most amazing feeling. It feels like we have a place where we and all the other fans truly belong, and it is awesome.

Join the Rippaverse Community

Want to get a little bit of that special Rippaverse community feeling for yourself? We are inviting you to come out and join us. We will be making our next appearance in Orlando, Florida, at MegaCon 2025, and we want to see you there.

We are planning one of our epic meet-ups alongside our talented friends Gary from Nerdrotic, Geeks + Gamers, Star Wars Theory, and more! The best part is there is no fee for the meet-up—just be sure to RSVP because these events fill up fast.

Can’t make the meet-up? Come and get your Rippaverse comic books and merch while meeting our legendary creator and founder, Eric July, as well as your favorite team members and writers. A friendly reminder that when you buy a Rippaverse comic book, we sign them for FREE at our Rippaverse appearances, so please do not miss your chance to come by and say hi!

Stay Connected Online

Can’t make the convention or the meet-up? We hope you can in the future, but we want to remind you that this incredible community exists online on social media and in our live chats on YouTube! Always feel free to hit us up and say hi because we always want to hear from you.

Thank you to all of you for being here. We are grateful to have you and promise you that we are just getting started. 2025 is going to be our biggest year yet, and it is in no small part, thanks to the outstanding support of our beloved fans.
