A convention that is out of this world

Andrew Rodriguez

Conventions bringing fans and creators together

One of the best parts of any fandom is the opportunity to meet with fellow fans. At The Rippaverse, we’ve been blessed with the greatest fans in the world, and they’ve allowed us to help create a fun and entertaining new comic book universe to get lost in. We’ve made several appearances at conventions over the last two years, with each event being a testament to just how genuinely positive our fandom is and how enthusiastic it is for what we’re building. Thank you for encouraging us with your love, your support, and your excitement for The Rippaverse!

The Rippaverse is coming to San Antonio

A major increase in book releases isn’t the only thing we have planned for the coming months and years but an increase in convention appearances we can make it out to as well! Enter SpaceCon, the next convention where you’ll have the chance to meet our team and creatives, get signatures for your Rippaverse books, and grab some merch as well! Running in San Antonio, Texas, from October 25th through the 27th, at the Freeman Coliseum Expo Halls, SpaceCon San Antonio will feature guests from some of the most famous science fiction films and television shows, including cast members from Star Wars, Star Trek, Rick and Morty, the creator of the “Mad Titan” Thanos Jim Starlin, and more!

The Return of the Fandom

In addition to meeting and greeting us at our Rippaverse booth (booth details coming soon), Rippaverse founder and owner Eric July will be on a panel along with some of our friends in the online sphere. On Saturday, October 26th, from 10:15 am to 10:45 on the SpaceCon Main Panel Stage, catch Eric with Gary Buechler of the Nerdrotic YouTube channel, Jeremy Griggs of Geeks and Gamers, and, of course, what would a sci-fi convention be without even more Star Wars representation, none other than Star Wars Theory! The panel is sure to be a blast, with geeks geeking out the way we were meant to. In addition to the discussion of the importance of fandom and what will sure to be no small amount of Star Wars chatter, Eric will be making a special Rippaverse announcement during the panel. Trust us, this is a panel you do not want to miss!

A stellar lineup of guests

Fresh off his hit ‘Goodyng: The Polymath’ and representing not just The Rippaverse but also the veteran writer who adapted the fan-favorite Timothy Zhan Thrawn Star Wars novels into comic book form, Mike Baron will be at the Rippaverse booth! This is a great opportunity to chat with and gain invaluable insight from one of the greatest writers the comic book industry has seen. Rippaverse Loremasters and the writers of Yaira and Bloodruth (and [REDACTED]) will also be in attendance and are sure to bring their infectiously positive energy to the convention for all fans, new and old. Have you ever wanted a chance to meet Obi-Wan Kenobi? Anakin Skywalker? Darth Maul? Ahsoka? Bo-Katan Kryze? The voice of Thanos? The CREATOR of Thanos? Captain Kirk? What about the one and only actress for Cara Dune, Gina Carano? All of these talents and more will be in attendance at the event, so you know that San Antonio is the place to be, so be there!

Come see us in San Antonio

We look forward to seeing as many of you out in San Antonio as can make it out. Bring those books for us to sign. Keep those phones charged for photos. And above all, thank you for all your continued love and support of what we do. The Rippaverse is going to new heights in 2025, but let’s close out 2024 with as many fan-tastic fandom memories as we can. We’ll see you in San Antonio in October!
