What some of The Rippaverse's most prominent characters have to say about the convention.

Jen & Sylvia Soska

Hello, ladies and gentlemen – it’s that time again, the fan event that brings the creatives and friends of the Rippaverse together in one glorious get-together in beautiful Orlando, Florida – MEGACON!!! Not only are we excited to be there seeing you all, signing your books, taking pics together, and having a good ole time – we have a few visitors from Florespark, Texas making the trek over & they have some words for you!

Greetings on behalf of the Alphacore, who always have the public’s safety and best intentions in mind. I’m honored to be representing the team at MegaCon. Braxwell & Ingrid are remaining in Florespark as part of the city restoration, which has been ongoing since the incident last month. I have been informed that the public will soon have classified information on the events that led up to and occurred during The Great War of Separation. Events that claimed many American lives who we remember for their sacrifice and honor to this day. Please do not be frightened by what you read as these incidents are what shaped our beautiful free country, and many of us who served back then are still working in your service to ensure that freedom lasts forever no matter the threat. – Bryan Solari

Oh, is Bryan Solari going to be here also? Is he aware that I’m going to be here as well? Perhaps that is why he is in attendance – we certainly do keep running into one another. Maybe it is written in the stars that we are destined to keep meeting until we can finish our battle not to a standstill but until one of us emerges victorious? What has happened since we last met, well, that is quite the story which you can catch up with in all its details in what I am told is being called ‘Yaira #2.’ Bring me your Yaira #1 books—signing and photographs are free! No doubt, an entire library can fill the tales of my adventures, but we are at a good starting point, and I do not mind sharing my secrets with a few thousand of my close and personal friends. I hear Dr. Sally Rodell of Projexus has discovered the lost City of Atlantis – I wonder who gave it such a title? No doubt someone who didn’t want it found. Who could that be, and what are their reasons for such a thing? Let’s find out together. I promise you won’t be harmed; I am Yaira, and I cannot be defeated. – Yaira

Orlando, Florida, is a place with a lot of movers and shakers. No doubt there’s a lot of activity here that could use my special skill set to bring amicable outcomes for those who need my services. Saoirse, here, and you might have heard I was last deeply involved in getting to the bottom of Mondo Machin’s seedy dealings in Florespark, Texas, but that doesn’t mean I can’t make time to meet the supporters of the Rippaverse and my work at MegaCon. I’ll be getting back to Mondo soon enough in my own time* but I heard there was a meetup event that I won’t want to miss. Come say hi. I’ll be the redhead in the red dress you won’t be able to miss. – Saoirse

*See Saoirse #1 to be released later this year

Everyone better be on their best behavior at MegaCon this February because I have no problem taking out the trash in any fair city. I recently relocated to Florespark, where I’ve been trying to keep a low profile, but that’s proving difficult with the scum Tuna has infested this city with. I hear that Tuna went for a swim that he’s not coming back from—good riddance. I’d like to say that means there isn’t more scum that’ll be causing problems, but once one is taken out, there’s always another to take his place. Keeps me busy. I like being busy, and I’ve been very busy. Had to hang up the suit for some peace in my actual life. Things were hitting a bit too close to home, and I don’t want to make Patty’s life any more difficult than it already is with a guy like me as her brother. But I haven’t found the right things to put this extra energy into. I need a hobby. Something to distract me. Maybe keeping the peace and order at MegaCon can do that or just maybe there’s something else that would be a perfect fit. – Hector Lee Caballero, formerly The Horseman*

*The Horseman will return in Horseman #1 later this year

Make sure you check the schedule for when you can meet the Rippaverse team as well as friends of the Rippaverse from Geeks and Gamers to The Critical Drinker! We cannot wait to see you there!
