Her mom shows her how to be strong. Her grandpa helps her reach. Each person in her life teaches her something a little different — and a little bit closer to the answer her dad wanted her to find. By the time the last page turns, Vassie knows what The Mightiest Thing really is. And so will the child you read it with.
This is a gentle, rhyming story for young readers about love, loss, and the people who help us find our way through. It’s written for kids facing the hard parts of life — but it’s also for the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins reading along beside them. Because the family that loves a child is part of the lesson, too.
