Back by popular demand from Rippaverse Publishing is RippaZine #2. This magazine is a perfect entry point for those just learning about Rippaverse Comics with book previews of our latest releases or for seasoned fans who wish to dive into the lore of our ever-expanding comic book universe. The RippaZine is a collaborative effort between the many creatives here at Rippaverse Publishing. And with a rapidly growing cast of characters and creators in our stable, we feel there’s something within these pages for everyone. There are in-universe articles and observations from the perspective of some of our characters, interviews with characters and creators, and more!
The Standard Edition cover for RippaZine #2 features the trio of Cato Goodyng. Horseman, and new character Saoirse, with art by Ronilson Freire and colors by Marcos Martins.
The RippaZine was made with one goal in mind: to bring fun back to being a comic book fan. Inside, you’ll find this zine bursting with content from cover to cover. Gorgeous illustrations from one of the best artists the industry has ever seen, Caanan White, will captivate your eyes, and that same mastercraftsman will share some of his tricks of the trade with you in an art tutorial.
The RippaZine is a great opportunity and proving ground for new characters. Our fans responded overwhelmingly positively to RippaZine #1’s short story, written by Eric July and illustrated by Bart Sears, which introduced Salvage P.I. In RippaZine #2, Eric has teamed up with none other than our very own Caanan White to introduce yet another new character to the Rippaverse beautiful femme fatale Saoirse in a brand-new, 16-page original short story. Who is this Saoirse character, and what will her adventures look like? Find out in the pages of RippaZine #2! The comic book pages don’t stop there either; for the fans of our feathered friends, the Pigeonverse strip returns! What Rippaverse events will we see from A Bird’s Eye View this time? You’ll have to read to find out.
Rippaverse writers, editors, and loremasters, the Soska Sisters, bring another interview for our RippaZine readers. This time, Jen & Sylvia interview the man of one million subscribers, Gary of Nerdrotic. This in-depth interview will cover everything from what got him into comic books and his YouTube journey to some of his lesser-known hobbies, chilling tales, and heartfelt advice for those struggling with addiction.
The villainous duo of the Rippaverse, Lilian Ronashi and Michael Copper, also return with their gossip and gentlemen’s tips segments. Lilian travels in circles that equip her with the inside scoop on many of Florespark’s denizens, good and evil, and she’s willing to spill some of the tea if you feel so inclined to join her. Michael has shrewd and manipulative advice for those seeking to walk on a path far from that of the angels. The advice of these cruel and dastardly devils may not be that which you want to follow, but it may give you insight into their personalities and intentions… and knowledge is power.
For those who like a little culinary concoction to go with their comics, Harriet’s Kitchen returns to bring yet another delectable delight to your senses. Nothing quite beats a home-cooked meal, and this next recipe will not disappoint.
Fresh off the heels of the successful solo outing in “Goodyng: The Polymath,” this issue’s Character Spotlight focus is none other than the genius inventor and entrepreneur Cato Goodyng. This section will provide insight into the self-made man and is accompanied by a stunning illustration by Caanan White and colored by J. Brown.
Rippaverse Book Previews are back with the first several pages for “Goodyng: The Polymath” by Mike Baron and Will Conrad and “The Horseman: Welcome to Florespark” by Chuck Dixon and Joe Bennett!
