Lawrence Lovell here with news and information you love to read. We’ve been seeing a bit of chaos around these Florespark streets and I decided it was time to see the faces—and more—of the vibes going down in these parts.
Recently, we had the distinct pleasure of speaking with Ingrid Valdez, a true force to be reckoned with. Known for her intelligence, determination, and tenacity, Ingrid is a formidable presence in any room.
Ingrid is no stranger to the world of justice and crime, having worked in intelligence and now serving as part of Alphacore.

Ingrid, ever gracious, took time out of her non-stop schedule to discuss her life’s work and passions. Here’s what she shared.
Lawrence Lovell: Can you share how you found yourself in this world of super-cops and super-baddies?
Ingrid Valdez: It wasn’t a path I consciously chose. More like a dark alley I found myself in. But once I was there, I knew it was where I belonged. I’ve always been driven by an ironclad sense of justice and an urge to help the helpless. This just turned out to be the most effective way to put those instincts to work. It started with my time working towards being a detective before being recommended for recruitment into Alphacore by Jeramya.
Lovell: Can you share about your upbringing and what led you to Florespark?
Ingrid: Florespark is where I was born and raised. It’s a small city with big issues, but it’s home. My father’s role as a police officer always inspired me to contribute to making the city a safer place.
Lovell: What do you love most about your work?
Ingrid: I love the challenge. Each day presents a new puzzle to solve, and I thrive on that. Also, the knowledge that my work makes a real difference in people’s lives is incredibly rewarding.
Lovell: Can you share some of your past work?
Ingrid: As a member of Alphacore, I’ve patrolled the streets, halted crimes in progress, and assisted my team members. While recovering from an injury, I shifted to a role where I offered information and logistical aid to Florespark police citywide.
Lovell: What does a typical weekend look like for you?
Ingrid: I wish I had weekends—work is 24/7 on-call. When I do manage to get some downtime, I enjoy reading, hiking, and volunteering at the humane shelter.
Lovell: What’s your dream travel destination?
Ingrid: I’ve always been drawn to Greece. There is a lot of history there, and I’ve always heard nothing but praise for the food. I like the idea of walking around and being lost in that other world.
Lovell: Do you have any advice for those aspiring to be heroes?
Ingrid: Stay ready. Train hard, hit the books, and always have a plan. But most importantly, always remember why you’re doing this. It’s not about gaining fame or recognition. It’s about helping people. But this is a city of order, and Alphacore is here for a reason.
Lovell: Is there anyone you’d like to thank?
Ingrid: I want to thank my father for always believing in me and instilling in me a deep sense of justice. I’d also like to thank the officers who always work the streets and do what they can for the people.
