Zephyr Arland is a kid with a heart of gold, but a lot to learn—he has a tendency to jump the gun. Zephyr’s family also has a secret, one that’s prevented him from attending a “normal school” before now. Wanting to live a normal life and just try to make it through high school, will this Tryout butt heads with his family’s low-key life, or will it put him on just the right track for what he was born to do in his not-too-distant future as the high-speed superhero—RUN?

Written by Rippaverse Creative Manager Andrew Rodriguez, illustrated by Edu Souza, and brought to colorful life by Andrew Cramer, Blue-Shift: Tryouts is the early years introduction to Zephyr’s world and a bright and optimistic tale of the ideas of fitting in while being meant for more coming into conflict.
