What is RippaWorks? 

RippaWorks is a new Rippaverse initiative that allows fans to directly support projects that expand our universe beyond comics. It’s a fan-powered, low-risk way for us to gauge interest and fund creative projects — beginning with animation. RippaWorks campaigns operate separately from our regular comic book pre-orders. 

What are the actual goals of this campaign? 

This first RippaWorks project — the Rippaverse Studios Animation Fund — has two primary goals: 

1. Goal One ($50,000): Fund ten short animated clips based on Isom, Yaira, and Bloodruth or Alphacore. 
2. Goal Two ($100,000): Fund a fully animated, high-action trailer based on RippaZine #6 and its upcoming series by Eric July and Caanan White. 
   Both goals are part of a larger mission to refine our animation style, strengthen our production team, and lay the groundwork for a future animated universe. 

What happens if this doesn’t fund? 

If the campaign fails to meet a funding goal, that specific project will not move forward, and all contributions toward that goal will be fully refunded. Contributions are held securely until each goal is met. Once a goal is reached, the project officially enters production, and funds are immediately allocated to development. 

When will the animations be made? 

Once a goal is reached, production begins. 

• Short Animated Clips: Will begin rolling out individually about 4 months after funding. 

• Animated Trailer: Expected delivery 3 months after funding. 
  All timelines are subject to change based on production needs, and any updates will be communicated via email to all backers. 

Can I make multiple contributions? 

Yes. You can contribute as many times as you’d like, either by selecting different tiers or by adding extra support through the “Add-On” donation option. Every contribution helps move the project forward. 

What is your refund policy? 

• If a funding goal is not met, all contributions will be fully refunded. 

• Once a goal is successfully met, funds are immediately allocated to production, and refunds can no longer be issued. 
  Because this campaign directly finances creative work, all post-funding contributions are final. 

When will the physical items ship? 

Physical items will ship after production milestones are reached: 

• Dokumaan Card: Estimated 3 months after funding goal is reached. 

• Exclusive Comic Book: Estimated 4 months after funding goal is reached. 

• Exclusive Poster: Estimated 3 months after funding goal is reached. 

All physical item dates are subject to change and will be confirmed via email updates as production progresses. 

How will I receive my digital rewards? 

Digital rewards — such as early access links, special updates, and credit listings — will be sent to the email address used at checkout. Please ensure your email is accurate when contributing. 

Is this the same as a Rippaverse pre-order? 

No. This campaign operates differently. 
RippaWorks projects are crowdfunded and depend on reaching their funding goals before production begins. Unlike standard Rippaverse pre-orders, these contributions are voluntary support for potential projects, not guaranteed purchases. 

Can I change or cancel my contribution? 

You may adjust or cancel your contribution while the campaign is live and before a goal is met. Once a goal is achieved and production begins, contributions become final, as funds are immediately used for development. 

Will future RippaWorks campaigns use this model? 

Yes. RippaWorks will serve as our platform for fan-driven creative projects — animation, collectibles, short features, and other expansions of the Rippaverse universe. Each project will have its own specific goals, updates, and timelines. 

Where can I find updates about the project? 

Updates will be emailed directly to backers and posted on the campaign page. Major production milestones, animation previews, and reward shipping notices will all be shared through official Rippaverse communication channels. 

How long will this campaign run? 

The Rippaverse Studios Animation Fund campaign will run for 35 days, ending on a Friday at 11:00 PM Central Time January 9, 2026. 

What are the stretch goals? 

If we surpass our main goals, additional animation milestones will unlock — including new trailers, pilot episodes, and even the full launch of the Rippaverse Animated Universe. These goals are detailed on the campaign page and allow us to expand production as far as the fans want to take it.
