Yaira's powers include flight, super-strength, and cold-base abilities, which allow her to manipulate the atmosphere around her. She’s set up her home base in Florespark, TX, where she's fought Bryan Solari to a standstill. Yaira's interactions with other characters are often intense, such as when Avery Silman accidentally collided with her, leading to her dropping him onto a cab. 

Despite her complex personality and relationships, Yaira is not without her softer side, which she keeps guarded, much like her heart. She's fully aware of her beauty and doesn't shy about weaponizing it to her benefit and advantage.
